في لعبة فورت نايت يتعاون اربعة من اللاعبين للقيام بتحقيق هدف ما في اللعبة وكما قلنا يتم ظهور عاصفة تقضي على معظم سكان الارض ويتم الاعتداء على الناجين من هذه العاصفة من خلال الزومبي , فيقوم اللاعبين بدور القادة
من المنازل يقومون بجمع الموارد ويتم انقاذ الناجين من الزومبي كما انهم يحافظون على المعدات التي تساعدهم في جمع البيانات عن العاصفة , يمنح اللاعبين عددا من العناصر داخل العبة عبارة عن البطل والسلاح وبعض
العناصرمثل الخشب والطوب والمعدن لكي يقوم اللاعبين ببناء التحصينات مثل الجدران وخلفيات والارضيات والسلالم
المواد التي تستخدم في هذه اللعبة متينة ومختلفة ويمكن ان تحدثها الى خصائص اكثر قوة بأنك يمكن لك استخدام
المزيد من المواد من نفس النوع مما يعطي اللاعبين فرصة لانشاء تخصينات دفاعية حول انفاق مليئة بمصائد لحماية
